Hanfu, Kimono, and Hidden Messages in Game of Thrones’ Costume Design

It's been hiding in plain sight all this time! According to Game of Thrones’ costume designer Michele Clapton, even though the show itself is a fantasy work, she took inspiration for costume designs from all over the world, including “Persians and Inuit and Mongols, Japanese, everything” I found a hidden message in Game of Thrones’ costume design, and according to Chinese ideology it could have foreshadowed all of the major characters’ fate in the show. Hanfu, meaning Han Chinese Clothing, or as I'd like to call it Han Couture, is what ancient Chinese people wore for thousands of years.
