Body Board Converted to Sled as Cold Streak Continues in South Carolina

Chris Jasurek
South Carolina got his with an historic amount of snow this year—and residents in the state found a lot of creative ways to enjoy it. The state was hit with the third heaviest snowfall in its history on Wednesday, Jan. 3. The city of Charleston saw five inches of accumulation, the most since 1989. [epoch_social_embed] https://twitter.com/NWSEastern/status/948689213951791104 [/epoch_social_embed] Of course there were weather warnings and travel alerts–and school closings. This left parents and children free to dream up exciting ways to enjoy the weather. This young gentleman slid down the snow-covered road on his body-surfing board towed behind a pickup truck. The person who shot this video, gfunk843, posted proudly, “This is how we do snow in the South!!!!!”
