GREENVILLE POLICE SAY THEY'VE IDENTIFIED THE MAN WHO RAPED AND STRANGLED 28-YEAR OLD GENEVIEVE "JENNY" ZITRICKI, IN HER APARTMENT IN 1990. THEY SAY DNA FROM ROBERT EUGENE BRASHERS--MATCHES DNA TAKEN FROM HER BODY--AS WELL AS FROM SEVERAL OTHER VICTIMS OF VIOLENT ATTACKS-- INCLUDING THE BRUTAL DOUBLE MURDER AND SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A MISSOURI MOTHER AND DAUGHTER IN 1998. INVESTIGATORS, USING DNA LEFT BEHIND FROM THOSE CRIME SCENES, USED A NEW DNA GENEALOGY LAB IN VIRGINIA-- WHICH HELPED IDENTIFY BRASHER AS A LIKELY SUSPECT. POLICE TRACKED DOWN HIS FAMILY MEMBERS FOR MORE DNA TESTING-- AND LATER EXHUMED HIS BODY FOR A POSITIVE MATCH.
