5 shades of puree | Little Kitchen

It's no secret that we love all kinds of purees! And you can make so many varieties of them just with a few different vegetables and some other ingredients. And a blender! . The first - blacker than the blackest black puree we made from beluga lentils, salt, butter and some squid ink. It goes perfectly with all kinds of seafood, thats why we served it with some stuffed calamari! . The second puree in the shades of red was made from beetroot! It goes perfectly with grilled cheese or any kind of salad dishes! . The third puree was made from avocado. We could argue that there is a thin line between an avocado puree and guacamole hh. But one thing is for sure! Avocado puree and any kind of fish is just pure love! . The fourth puree was made from celery root or celeriac. It has a aromatic flavour and goes perfectly with sage leaves and eggplant! . And the last one is a pumpkin puree. You can make this with all kinds of pumpkin or squash. We prefer Hokkaido pumpkin or Butternut squash! Pumpkin goes perfectly with so many dishes - we served it with salmon fillets and gnocchi. . So which one do you like the most? .
