Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in Georgia Thursday morning to 13 charges related to his actions contesting the 2020 election results in the state. He also waived his arraignment, meaning he won’t appear in court on Sept. 6 to hear the charges read out against him. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) has alleged that the CDC colluded with Twitter to censor its own official COVID-19 vaccine data. And former President Donald Trump said there’s a reason why politicians and the media are talking about COVID again. Hurricane Idalia split trees in half, ripped roofs off hotels, and flooded cars as it tore through Florida. On Thursday, residents there have been picking up the pieces and helping each other find hope in their communities.
