Accused parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz appeared in a Florida Courtroom. For his actions on Valentine’s Day when he opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
While no trial date has been set, Cruz’s lawyers are now asking the court to allow additional interviews of over 450 witnesses instead of relying on written statements or documents. Prosecutors had previously placed hundreds of those witnesses off limits.
The judge so far has only allowed one of those witnesses to be interviewed.
19-year-old Cruz is charged with 17 counts of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.
