Love letter from George HW Bush to Barbara from WW2 goes vira
A love letter penned by former President George H.W. Bush to his wife Barbara Bush has gone viral.
The letter was written during World War II when Bush was a U.S. Navy fighter pilot.
George H.W. Bush sent the letter to Barbara, whose last name was then Pierce, as the pair were engaged but not yet married.
The future president said he couldn't wait to reunite with his fiance, and also said she would make a great mother to their future children.
Barbara Bush passed away at age 92 on Tuesday after her family announced that she had chosen not to continue engaging in preventative medical care, switching instead to "comfort care."
