Embattled Florida election official Brenda Snipes rescinds resignation

Lawbreaking Florida election official Brenda Snipes rescinded her resignation after being suspended. Gov. Rick Scott announced the suspension, Snipes rescinded the resignation later that day. During the midterms a key deadline was missed, illegal votes were mixed in, and thousands of ballots were lost. Scott called it “a series of inexcusable actions.” She’s consistently refused to take responsibility for the mistakes, blaming underlings. “We’ve have always done our work in an air of quality and integrity,” Snipes said at a press conference.
