With the additional 20 solar panels we are adding, we will be bringing in three times the amount of power we currently are. This means our current solar power setup won't work for us the way it is. Everything needs to be reconfigured to accommodate for the increased amount of power we will be bringing in. So, is solar power worth it? For us, yes! Our current system is capable of running everything inside our modern off-grid home. Where we run into issues are when we have more than 3 days of solid clouds.
