President Joe Biden has signed a war powers resolution, and will deploy U.S. troops to the African nations of Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Sudan. The military deployment is taking place under the shadow of a widening war in Sudan, and Biden says the troops will help protect U.S. personnel in the region.
