Cathay Pacific typo

Was it an accident or was it an advertisement? A Cathay Pacific plane showed up at Hong Kong International Airport with a misspelled logo. Instead of Cathay Pacific it read “Cathay Paciic”— missing the “F” in “ “Pacific.” A photo of the logo posted by Cathay Pacific soon went viral. Some wonder if the “typo” was really a low-budget social media advertising campaign.
