AUDI RS - Evolution From 1994~2019

Audi Sport GmbH, AUDI AGs high performance private subsidiary, creates even higher performance versions, known by their "RS" badging. The "RS" initials are taken from the German: RennSport — literally translated as "racing sport". RS is Audi's highest performance 'top-tier' trim level, Audi "RS" models are considered direct competitors to similar-sized hardcore sport models from BMW M and Mercedes-AMG. 1994 AUDI 80 Avant RS2 The Audi RS2 Avant was a limited edition, high-performance Audi five-door manufactured from March 1994 to July 1995. 2000 Audi RS4 Avant The original B5 Audi RS4 Avant Quattro was introduced by Audi in late 1999, for main production and sale from 2000. 2002 Audi RS6 The original Audi C5 RS6 Quattro was manufactured from July 2002 through to September 2004. 2004 AUDI RS6 AVANT Plus Audi introduced the new RS6 Plus model in 2004. 2005 audi rs4 The top-of-the-range RS4 was introduced in 2005 by Audi AG in joint venture with Quattro GmbH. 2008 audi rs6 & avant The second-generation RS 6 was based on the Volkswagen Group C6 automobile platform and was launched in September 2007 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Audi raised the top speed limiter, with the TT RS plus being restricted to 174 mph. 2013 AUDI RS6 Avant On November 20, 2012 Audi announced to debut an Avant version of the RS6 at the 2013 Detroit auto show. 2014 AUDI RS7 Sportback The RS 7 Sportback, which is making its debut at the North American International Auto Show 2013 in Detroit. 2015 AUDI RS3 Sportback Details for the RS 3 Sportback were revealed in December 2014. 2016 AUDI RS3 Sedan In 2016, Audi presented the most powerful and dynamic A3 model - the RS3 Sedan which was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. 2016 Audi RS6 Avant Performance Audi announced the RS6 Avant Performance on October 22, 2015. 2016 Audi RS7 sportback Performance Audi announced the RS 7 Performance along with the RS 6 Performance in 2015.
