Recent studies show that doctors are prescribing an increasing amount of antidepressants to teenagers. In terms of mental health, young people were among those most severely impacted by the pandemic. The rise in mental health problems could be linked to young people spending more time gaming and on social media. NTD spoke to GP and founder of Parents Against Phone Addiction in Young Adolescents, Dr. Susanna Davies. She says the increase in antidepressant prescriptions and use are "just the tip of the iceberg" for teenagers' mental health.
