MI: Hundreds Volunteer as Poll Watchers

N
NTD Videos
About 80 volunteers gathered at a banquet hall in Keego Harbor, Michigan for a training session on poll watching. Their mission is to guard and protect the vote. Volunteers think it is important that the voting process is being watched by someone. One voter said that in this election the chances of fraud are far greater than in past elections. Critics are worried about possible confrontation and intimidation at the polls come Election Day. One activist says voter intimidation can't be ignored. One of the organizers -- a poll challenger for the last ten years—said poll challengers are not trying to intimidate voters but protect them.
