Police Chief Mario Martinez On The Caravan Migrants Protest

Kuting Feng
Reporter: How many people were protesting here today? Martinez: We have more or less counted around 400 people who are the ones that have come out to protest. Reporter: Has something of this magnitude happened before in Tijuana? Martinez: We have never had anything like this. We’ve had other tranquil protests, as the community of Tijuana is tranquil. We are surprised by how this protest has been aroused. Fortunately, we haven't had any people injured. We've succeeded in containing the individuals who are trying to get into the shelter and provoking problems. Fortunately, the containment line hasn't given in.
