The CCP’s “six major preparations” in response to external environment changes

A Chinese state-run media outlet published a rare article discussing six major preparations that should be taken inside China. Experts indicated that this may mean the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is getting desperate in its escalating confrontation with the United States and the international community. On July 3, the CCP’s mouth-piece “Global Times” published an article written by Zhou Li, former deputy head of the Liaison Department, stating that the Chinese Communist Party must undertake six major preparations in response to a deteriorating external environment, contributed to by increasing unstable factors caused by the global impact of the CCP virus.
