Videos of the Day: Trump Talks Patriotism Over Globalism in UN Speech
President Trump spoke about putting patriotism and independence over globalism during his speech at the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.” “Virtually everywhere, socialism or communism has been tried. It has produced suffering, corruption, and decay. Socialism’s thirst for power leads to expansion, incursion, and oppression. All nations of the world should resist socialism and the misery that it brings to everyone.” “America will always choose independence and cooperation over global governance, control, anda domination.” “America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism and accept the ideology of patriotism.” Other topics Trump touched on include foreign aid, terrorism, energy, and trade. ------ Senator Ted Cruz left a restaurant after a mob of far-left protestors ambushed him and his wife.
