Hubei Province: Cars Totaled After Getting Washed into River by Flood Water

West Hubei’s Enshi City sits on the Qing River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. After heavy rains for several days, the city was inundated in water from July 17 to July 21. A few days later, on July 25, additional rain flooded the city again, much more severely. Many cars got washed into the river during the second round of flooding. A woman in Jianshi County of Enshi City provided a detailed account of the vehicles salvaged from the river.
