ICE TO ARREST MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

The head of Homeland Security announced in a press briefing that sanctuary cities will be seeing more of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the future. In September, the law enforcement agency arrested almost 130 illegal immigrants in the state of California. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement launched Operation Rise in late September. The five-day operation focused on arresting illegal immigrants convicted or charged for crimes including murder, child sex offenses and domestic violence. Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf revealed that ICE will be ramping up it's efforts, particularly in sanctuary cities.
