Depoliticizing the Justice System Should Be House Republicans' Main Focus: Nunes

Devin Nunes, former congressman and chair of the House Intelligence Committee, says that upon gaining control of the House, the GOP’s top priority should be to root out political motivations from the U.S. justice system. Nunes, who’s now the head of Truth Social, the social media platform owned by former President Donald Trump, says federal law enforcement has been hijacked as a cudgel against political opponents. He notes that when Republicans gain control of the House in January 2023, they will be able to use subpoena power to gather information and “expose” improprieties in the justice system.
