A recent rabies vaccine scandal in China has ignited public outrage across the country.
Over 253,330 doses of DTap, manufactured by Changchun Changsheng, were substandard.
Most of the doses had already been shipped to Shandong’s disease control and prevention center.
The company had forged manufacturing data in its production of the Vero-cell rabies vaccine.
China’s drug regulator has fined the company 3.44 million yuan (about $507,809).
Parents are worried for their children’s health.
