No prenup between Bezos and wife of 25 years- report

The world’s richest man, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and his wife MacKenzie are getting a divorce after 25 years of marriage. They made the announcement public on Twitter. According to Bloomberg’s billionaires index, Bezos is reportedly worth $137 billion. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement. As they will file their documents in Washington State, a community property state. Any wealth made during the marriage could be equally split. That means MacKenzie would be entitled to half of the $137 billion, making her the world’s richest woman. That also means Bill Gates would once again be the world’s richest man.
