Will it or won't it go over the Falls? A historic ship that was marooned for over 101 years has in recent days edged closer to Niagara's treacherous falls, a historian with the Niagara Parks Commission said. "It appears...on Halloween, that the Scow shifted," Jim Hill, Manager for Heritage at the Niagara Parks Commission said of the "Iron Scow." The shipwrecked "Iron Scow" was the site of a daring rescue of two stranded sailors in August of 1918 and for over a century, the entire length of the massive vessel could be seen jutting from the water.
