Hilarious Video of Horse Face-planting in Huge Pile of Snow Goes Viral

2018-03-06 11:22
This is the hilarious moment a hapless horse fell at the fence---and face-planted straight into a pile of snow. The clip shows 10-year-old Jack galloping towards a gap in the fence through a snow-covered field. The thoroughbred-quarter horse polo pony was filmed losing its footing before ending up face-first in the five-foot mound of snow. Jack, wearing a tan-coloured coat, manages to climb out of the drift before trotting away. The mishap occurred at Jack's home in Llangarron, Herefordshire, UK on Saturday, March 3. The 10-second video, which was uploaded on Facebook by Jack's owner Fen Harris, has already been viewed more than 137,000 times. Events management student Fen, 21, said: "I've had him six years. "I had to mute the video as it shocked me a bit but after I realised he was okay and just being his usual drama queen self. "I laughed and thought I'd share it to my friends to give them a laugh as they know what he's like and then it went a bit viral from there! "He's a bit of a klutz but never done that before. "There was about five foot of snow in that pile, we had snow drifts that were over the hedge rows." The UK was battered by bad weather last week thanks to the "Beast from the East" and Storm Emma, with red warnings put in place telling people not to travel.
