Transgender ID Lawsuit, Calif. Attorney General Sues School District

California's Attorney General Rob Bonta sues a school district over gender identity policy. Some critics say it would threaten students' well being. In an email sent later to NTD, a spokesperson for the Chino Valley Unified School District said Parent Notification policy does protect transgender students and takes their safety seriously. If staff believes a student is in danger or being abused at home, they would not notify parents but would turn to appropriate agencies for investigation.
