There are currently about 11,000 Americans who are stuck in Afghanistan. However, it appears that they are being left alone and allowed to evacuate. Meanwhile, after taking over provincial capitals, as well as Kabul, the Taliban was able to seize billions of dollars worth of American military equipment.
