Ice Pops Cool Zoo Animals in Brazil as Heat Wave Strikes

Animals at a zoo in Rio de Janeiro, were getting cold treats during a rare winter heat wave on Sept. 22. While it was technically still winter in Brazil, with spring due to start the next day, a heat wave had engulfed the country since the beginning of the week, causing humans and animals alike to eagerly greet any chance of cooling down.
