Witness Footage: Packed Pier Collapses on University of Wisconsin Campus, Multiple Injured

Video footage shows dozens of University of Wisconsin students and others—who were celebrating Labor Day—sitting and standing on the pier by Lake Mendota on Monday before it suddenly gave way, sending the crowd into the water. A UWPD officer estimated between 20 and 25 people had been slightly injured, according to News 3 Now.
