Trump Approval Among Black Voters Rises to Record 40 Percent in Rasmussen Poll

Some 40 percent of black likely voters approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing, according to a Rasmussen poll released Oct. 29. The number marks a record high, and shows a rapid rise in support for the president among the demographic, compared to results from the same poll a year ago. It marks a major shift in the black political sphere. Trump faced accusations of racism by Democrats, but won the 2016 election anyway. Democrats continue to employ the strategy of accusing Trump of racism, even as the country looks towards his 2020 re-election. Trump was elected with only 8 percent of the black vote. the racism stratagems are losing their effectiveness as Trump’s support among blacks grows. Trump has spent considerable effort to bs, safety, and education. Black unemployment dropped to historic lows under his administration’s “America First” economic agenda. Violent crime also slightly declined in 2017, after two years on the rise. Conservative political commentator Candace Owens’s newest initiative is called “Blexit.” It urges black Americans to leave the Democratic Party. She created an accompanying clothing line designed by entertainer and avid Trump supporter Kanye West.
