Will the 2022 Brazilian presidential election, be a replica, of the 2020 U.S. presidential election? From the first half, it does looks very similar. The conservative incumbent president, Bolsonaro, apparently lost the vote count to the convicted former president Lula. The current president, Bolsonaro has not conceded defeat. And his supporters did not recognize the election results, arguing that, the former president had rigged the election by cheating. From the end of the election, in late October until now, civil protests have continued. Evidence of election fraud has also come to light. But in a slight difference from the U.S. 2020 election, the military has taken a stand, and have said that, it supports President Bolsonaro.
