A bunch of vehicles in a San Francisco Bay Area city are worse for wear...
After a chunk of a giant, three-hundred-fifty-year-old tree comes crashing down.
It happened Thursday (8/30), just after midnight, in Pleasant Hill, California.
No one appears to be injured... but seven vehicles were damaged.
One resident says, when the tree fell, it sounded like a home run hit with a wooden bat.
The city told that same resident that, since the debris from the tree is on her property, it's her responsibility to clean it up.
No word on the extent of the vehicle damage or why the chunk of tree fell.
It's a bicentennial heritage tree, which means it's protected by the city.
