Pro-US Chinese Feel Sad Over the Closure of US Consulate in Chengdu

American diplomats vacated the premises of the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu on July 27, after China ordered the consulate to shut down in retaliation for the closure of Chinese consulate in Houston, Texas. Many Chinese expressed their disapproval of China’s hostility towards the United States.
