“Star Wars” producer Gary Kurtz has died at 78,
in London, on Sept. 23 after fighting cancer.
He worked with George Lucas for the first “Star
Wars” movie and got 10 Oscar nominations.
Kurtz was also nominated in the best picture
category for his first “Star Wars.”
Later he had some unsuccessful movies and
filed for bankruptcy.
Nevertheless, his talent was highly spoken of
by his colleagues.
