近10年來在台灣阿里山小笠原山觀察台灣國鳥帝雉，荒野保護協會嘉義分會解說員蘇家弘分享，阿里山有100多隻帝雉，這邊保育的非常好，「遊客看到國鳥都好高興，有人還會興奮地叫出來。」
