Puppies Rescued After Being Found With Rubber Bands Forcing Mouths Shut
Two puppies were rescued by the Wichita Animal Action League on September 12 when they were found with rubber bands keeping their mouths shut.
The animals were found by a maintenance worker inspecting a flooded apartment. He saw the puppies trapped in a crate “huddled in ankle-deep feces and urine, completely quiet,” the Wichita Animal Action League said.
Video from the Wichita Animal Action League shows the puppies being freed from the bands.
Another video, shared on September 13, shows the puppies happier and playing with each other as they recover from their ordeal.
