Blaze Media and Lightspeed Pictures produced a documentary detailing the case, "Riding the Dragon: The Bidens' Chinese Secrets." Videos of the incident were released by Chinese state media. During an air combat training exercise of the China Southern Theater Air Force, a flock of birds flew over the right side of a low flying jet’s fuselage, and as birds struck the aircraft its engine lost power.
