Kathleen Thimsen DNP, ET/WOCN, FNS Assoc. Prof., Prog. Dir., Doctorate of Nursing Practice, UNLV Dr. Kathleen Thimsen received a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Regis University. An awarded expert speaker and author on forensic nursing, education, wound care, and community health, she is a member and consultant with national nursing boards and co-founder of the Academy of Forensic Nursing and the Forensic Nursing Certification Board.
