A sorority at the University of Southern Mississippi granted a World War II veteran's final wish. Paul Sonnier, 92, said his final wish was "to dance with a beautiful woman." Phi Mu later hosted a dance for Sonnier. [Samantha Owen, Sonnier's granddaughter] "We're super grateful because he hasn't been out the house in so long. All these 'pretty women' get to come around him. He gets to hand out flowers and just be himself. He hasn't been himself a while. So, he's super happy." Sonnier was serving in the U.S. Navy when the Pearl Harbor attacks happened. He then served during World War II. He said he regretted not being able to physically dance but enjoyed the event nonetheless. "It feels good to be with all these beautiful women."
