Its been a week since a deadly fire in Urumqi, China killed more than 40 people after COVID lockdown barriers prevented firefighters from putting out the fire. The tragedy ignited widespread protests in and outside the country. Now the Chinese Communist Party is seeking out demonstrators and arresting them. Meanwhile, people overseas continue to show their support.
