Russia Returns to the International Stage for BRICS Summit

The BRICS Summit hosted by China concluded this Wednesday. India along with Russia, Brazil, and South Africa addressed the summit via video link. The core theme of the summit was global economic recovery, post-pandemic. For the very first time, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin returned to the international stage after Moscow invaded Ukraine.
