My Friend Was SHOCKED That I Gave Him This... A few weeks before his birthday, I asked my friend Rudy what he wanted for a gift. He told me that he would love a string trimmer (preferably the Stihl brand since we both agree that that is the best brand out there). I started to think of how I could put my old KM56RC back into good use. I also had in stock a somewhat new FS 56RC that I had received from one of my clients a long time ago. Laying both aside next to each other, my brain clicked... why don't I just frankenstein these two units together to make one working string trimmer? Well, that's exactly what I ended up doing. And to my surprise, it worked. All those years of working as a small engine mechanic have truly paid off in the long run. With the mechanic's skills that I've obtained, not only am I able to make a small engine work again, but I am also able to gift this unit to someone who will truly put it to good use.
