Lone Zebra Wanders Into Lion Ambush

Tourists visiting the Masai Mara in Kenya were almost witness to an impromptu lunch after a lone zebra was spotted innocently wandering directly into a lion ambush. The zebra, too enraptured in crossing the river to notice the five waiting lions ahead, was lucky enough to look upwards just as a lion overhead readied itself to pounce. The zebra quickly retreated to the other side of the river and lived to fight another day.
