Small Boat Crossings: 254 People Intercepted

The Ministry of Defence says over 250 people crossed the Channel in small boats to the U.K. on Sunday and more have reportedly arrived today. It comes after an apparent 11-day pause amid windy weather. The Ministry of Defence took command of migrant operations in April, when the government also announced its plan to send some migrants crossing to the U.K. to Rwanda, in East Africa.
