SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE EXAMINES RED FLAG LAWS

Almost exactly a year ago, President Trump signed an executive order on improving school safety. Part of that executive order encouraged states to strengthen background checks on people buying firearms. This week the Senate Judiciary Committee looked at ways the federal government can incentivize states to adopt best practices on keeping weapons out of the hands of those who pose an extreme risk.
