2018-11-26 21:05
A timelapse video shows the Russian Progress MS-10 cargo spacecraft launching into space to deliver cargo and supplies to the International Space Station on November 16, 2018. "The spacecraft was launched atop a Soyuz rocket with 2,564 kg of cargo and supplies. Flying at 28,800 km/h, 400 km high, the International Space Station requires regular supplies from Earth such as this Progress launch," the European Space Agency (ESA) noted in the video's description. Watching closely, one can see the rocket booster separation at 7 seconds into the video, the core stage separation at 19 seconds, and at 34 seconds the core stage starting to burn in the atmosphere as well as the spacecraft separating from the rocket.
