Timelapse Shows Ferries on Hudson River During Nor'easter Around two inches of rain fell on New York City with high wind gusts during a nor’easter on Friday, March 2. The National Weather Service reported 1.93 inches of rain fell in Central Park and top wind gusts reached 63 miles per hour at JFK International Airport.
