2018-10-17 13:59
Texas Gov Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster in 18 counties in central and south Texas on Tuesday, October 16, as severe flooding hit the state. The floods, brought on by heavy rainfall, forced the closure of several parks and lakes as authorities conducted search and rescue missions. This video was captured by Richard Wansley. It shows the swell on the Llano River in Kingsland, Texas, just before the FM 2900 bridge collapsed, he told Storyful.
