Teen pleads not guilty to pushing friend off bridge
Taylor Smith pleaded not guilty after
she pushed her friend off a bridge.
Holgerson plunged 60 feet and suffered
six broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Holgerson was on the Moulton Falls
bridge in Washington state on Aug. 7.
She stood on the edge and
appeared hesitant to jump.
Then Smith pushed her.
“I didn’t think about the consequences,” Smith said.
Smith was charged with reckless endangerment,
and faces up to a year in jail and a fine of $5,000.
