Della Sun
--lead in-- A pennsylvania man is dead.....After allegedly killing his parents in a rampage. Authorities say the suspect took police on a chase.....And was deceased by the time they came up to his vehicle. John lorinc reports. --reporter pkg-as follows-- The search for the pennsylvania man who killed his parents in a shooting rampage has come to an end. Authorities say bruce rogal's divorce was finalized wednesday. Shortly after receiving an order confirming the divorce, a prosecutor says, rogal went to his ex-wife's house in west bradford township.....With a weapon. Tom hogan/chester county district attorney "She was changing oil in a car in the driveway of her residence, he drove by and shot at her. He did not hit her. He did hit several houses nearby." Six rounds were shot, nobody was injured in that incident...... However less than an hour later, the d-a says, rogal went to the bellingham retirement community in east goshen. Tom hogan/chester county district attorney "At approximately 6:15 p.M., he shot and killed both of his parents in their apartment in the senior living center." Police say william and nancy rogal were both in their late 80's. The bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives was among the agencies that responded to the attack. No one else was injured at the retirement home......Which was secure within hours of the shooting. Authorities believe the divorce is what set rogal on his fatal rampage. I'm john lorinc reporting.
