Heavy Rain Causes Severe Flooding in Southern China

Many places in Southern China’s Guangxi Province were hit by heavy rains from May 24 to May 25, leading to severe flooding. In Napo County, the entire town was submerged in water. In some lower terrains, the flood almost reached the roofs of residential homes. Prior to that, capital city Nanning reported 65,537 lightning bolts from 8 p.m. of May 21 to 8 a.m. of May 22.
